Steelers’ former first-round pick LB Bud Dupree will not be franchised for a second time, will hit the free-agent market.
Fantasy Impact: Dupree broke out in 2019, tallying 11.5 sacks and four forced fumbles. He was well on his way to matching those numbers (8 sacks in 11 games) in 2020 before an ACL tear derailed his season in December. The injury’s timing could lead to him missing the start of the 2021 regular season, which may drive down his value on the open market. At just 28 years old, Dupree is still in his prime. Given his recent productivity, he should garner heavy interest from teams regardless of the injury.
