Tennessee Titans QB Ryan Tannehill is reportedly restructuring his contract to create over $15 million in cap space, helping the franchise complete the signing of perennial Pro-Bowl WR Julio Jones, per Ian Rapoport.
Fantasy Impact: Tannehill will undergo a simple contract restructure to allow the Titans to create the cap space necessary to sign Jones. The Titans acquired Jones in exchange for a 2022 second-round draft pick and a 2023 fourth-round draft pick, allowing him to join forces with A.J. Brown and Derrick Henry to rejuvenate their roster and increase their chances of contending for a Super Bowl in 2021-22. As a result of signing Jones, Tannehill’s pre-season ADP has risen into QB1 territory at QB11 in half-PPR rankings based on the arsenal of weapons he now finds at his disposal.
