The Indianapolis Colts opened training camp this week. The Athletic’s Zak Keefer provided a boots on the ground report Wednesday. When talking with RB Nyheim Hines, the RB passed along that he focused on route-running in the offseason. Hines is optimistic his hard work will pay off via more looks in the passing game, specifically more deep shots, saying, “Hopefully I’ll get some more down-the-field routes.”
Fantasy Impact: Keefer added that Hines’ quote jumped out to him and that with Carson Wentz now at QB, look out for wrinkles like Hines getting more down-the-field routes in the offense. Keefer pointed out Hines is a versatile weapon and that the Colts would be wise to get him more looks at different spots on the field.
