Emmanuel Sanders fit right into the Bills offense on the first day of training camp, according to The Athletic’s Joe Buscaglia. The beat writer wrote: With how the Bills offense all talk about Sanders and what we saw on the first day, it would not be a surprise to see him be a big piece of the puzzle in 2021.
Fantasy Impact: Buscaglia added: [Josh] Allen found Sanders on multiple occasions [on the first day of training camp], including an impressive over-the-top throw where Allen spotted something pre-snap, lofted the throw right after the snap and trusted Sanders to win the route. Allen watched as the pass hit the receiver in the perfect spot. After the throw, the two were so excited that they ran to each other for a jumping side bump to celebrate. In addition to Sanders, Buscaglia noted Gabriel Davis won’t necessarily be left in the dust because the Bills perpetually rotate receivers and that the offense runs four-receiver sets a high clip. But he cautioned the heavily increased role that folks expected for Davis this season might not be in the cards.
