Kansas City Chiefs RB Jerick McKinnon rushed three times for four yards and caught all three of his targets for 21 yards during Friday’s 17-10 preseason Week 2 win over the Arizona Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact: McKinnon hauled in all three of his targets to average seven yards per reception, showing his skillset and why the Chiefs signed him to a one-year deal this offseason. With Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle) suffering an apparent ankle injury during Friday’s win, McKinnon could see an increased role early in the season. His rushing left much to be desired but the reception upside makes him a fun late-round prospect in fantasy drafts as the RB81.
