Philadelphia Eagles WR Quez Watkins has been earning first-team reps as the slot receiver, per beat reporter Chris Franklin of NJ.com.

Fantasy Impact: The Eagles drafted Watkins in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. The second-year wideout has reportedly developed more precise route-running while building continuity with quarterback Jalen Hurts, including an impressive touchdown during Tuesday’s joint practice with the New York Jets. He’s going undrafted in fantasy leagues but could be a great early-season waiver wire acquisition if he winds up earning the starting slot receiver role.
