The Jacksonville Jaguars have placed tight end James O’Shaughnessy on injured reserve with an ankle injury.
Fantasy Impact: The tight end will now miss at least the next three weeks of action with the injury. O’Shaughnessy saw eight targets in Week 1, so a struggling Jaguars offense will miss his presence. Chris Manhertz, Jacob Hollister, and rookie Luke Farrell are behind him on the depth chart and will be asked to step into larger roles. Luke Farrell led the Jaguars tight ends in snaps in Week 2 and appears to be the next man up. Farrell is nothing more than a deep TE premium stash.
