Josh Jacobs saw 18 touches on Monday night, totalling 57 yards in the process. The most impressive part of this though, was that five of those touches were receptions.
Fantasy Impact: Every fantasy manager knows how dangerous Jacobs is on the ground, but what has prevented him from being a safe play every week was his lack of receiving work. If he can consistently get five targets a week, managers can suddenly have a lot more faith in his weekly production, even if he fails to find the end zone. Even more encouraging though, was the fact that backup running backs Peyton Barber and Kenyan Drake only saw one touch a piece. Jacobs seems to be back in a workhorse role, and should be fired up as a solid RB2 in Week 5, even in a tough matchup against Chicago.
