Per Giants beat reporter Dan Duggan, RB Saquon Barkley was absent from New York’s practice on Thursday as he continues to rehab his ankle injury.
Fantasy Impact: While there is no concrete time table for Barkley’s return from a low-ankle sprain, the start RB is not expected to play in Week 6 for the Giants. When Barkley exited in Week 5 the Giants turned to backup RB Devontae Booker who handled all of the rushing volume for the remainder of the game. Booker should be viewed as a volume based low-end RB 2 in what could be a tough matchup vs the Rams in Week 6.
