Derek Carr threw for 341 yards on Sunday, completing 18 of his 27 attempts, two of which went for touchdowns. He also lost a yard on two scrambles.
Fantasy Impact: This was certainly a much needed win for Carr, who had been dealing with quite a bit of noise over the past week with former head coach Jon Gruden resigning. Fantasy wise though, this is exactly what the doctor ordered. Carr was rarely pressured and in turn was able to convert third downs and move the ball effectively. Carr should be treated as a high-end QB2 next week against Philadelphia, although it’s a defense teams have preferred to run against rather than pass against this season.
