Jamison Crowder ended the day tied for third in targets and finished with 34 scoreless yards.
Fantasy Impact: Crowder was tied with Corey Davis with six targets and finished with four catches and 34 yards. Both players trailed running backs, Ty Johnson and Michael Carter in targets, which could be a concerning trend fantasy managers need to pay attention with Zach Wilson likely out for the next couple of weeks. Backup quarterback, Mike White averaged only 6.3 yards per attempt. This offense was one to avoid when it had Zach Wilson under center, but now with White taking over, fantasy managers should be very concerned about the overall state of the offense. Crowder might become a favorite of White if he’s unable or unwilling to throw the ball down the field, which could lead to Crowder becoming a safety valve of sorts. Still, in the immediate aftermath of Wilson’s injury, all Jets’ receivers are best avoided until fantasy managers have a better idea of what this offense will look like without Wilson.
