KJ Hamler is on track to be ready for Week 1, according to Nathaniel Hackett.
Fantasy Impact: Hamler is recovering from surgery to repair a torn ACL last year, and his progress has been steady, as he was activated off the PUP list on Monday. Ordinarily, he wouldn’t be of much fantasy interest given the Broncos’ receiving corps and his injury but with Tim Patrick now lost for the season, Hamler should see increased snaps so long as he is healthy. Hackett’s words are encouraging, but fantasy managers should still be cautious, as the Broncos won’t want to risk Hamler’s long-term health by trying to push him to be ready for Week 1. And even if he is ready, it’s unlikely that he’ll see a full complement of snaps right away. Still, this is good news for managers who have drafted or are thinking of drafting the wideout.
