Indianapolis Colts rookie linebacker Darius Leonard (ankle) was wearing a protective boot on his left ankle on Monday. Leonard has been one of the most impressive rookie defenders this year, totaling 38 tackles and four sacks through four weeks. With a short week in Week 5 with a game this Thursday against the Patriots, Leonard’s status is now in question. That would be bad news overall for the Colts defense in a tough spot. The Colts defense overall has tallied 17 sacks in four games, with only the Bears (18) having more to open the year. Leonard and Margus Hunt are tied for sixth in the NFL with four sacks each.
