If you play DFS, stack these players in Week 16 for a chance at optimizing your FanDuel and DraftKings scores. Follow Elliot on Twitter @BerkovitsElliot.
Week 16 is here, which means we only have two more weeks of regular season football! For all of you that have been eliminated from your fantasy leagues (myself included) and are looking for something to do this weekend, look no further. The only thing better than season long fantasy is daily fantasy football, where you get to play for real cash and have real fun doing it.
As I’ve said before, when it comes to DFS I think it’s all about finding the guys with the most favorable matchups and the highest upside. Here in Week 16 we have plenty of great matchups to take advantage of. Here are my top 3 DFS stacking options for Week 16.

DFS Stack Plays
Matt Ryan (FD $8,500, DK $6,100) and Julio Jones (FD $8,700, DK $8,700)
This week the Atlanta Falcons will face off against the division rival Carolina Panthers in a game that should have a ton of scoring. The Falcons offense finally came to life last week, scoring 40 points against a sneaky good Cardinals defense and I think they are in a great spot to have another huge game.
The Panthers defense ranks 25th against both QBs and WRs in fantasy points per game, giving Matt Ryan and Julio Jones dream matchups. Ryan will be facing a defense that gives up over 22 points per game to opposing QBs and I think he shatters that mark in this one. For as bad as Carolina has been against QBs they’ve been even worse against WRs, giving up 38 points a game to the position. Make sure to stack these two stars in your DFS lineups this week.

Deshaun Watson (FD $8,000, DK $6,600) and Deandre Hopkins (FD $8,900, DK $8,600)
The Houston Texans have been one of the hottest teams in the league over the past couple of months and it all starts with two players: Deshaun Watson and DeAndre Hopkins. This duo has torched every defense it’s faced with Watson scoring over 18 points in 4 straight games (3 of those going over 20) while Hopkins has scored at least double digits every game this season, with his best performance coming last week scoring a whopping 39 fantasy points!
If all that wasn’t enough to convince you to play these guys then how about this: they face the Eagles and their the 31st ranked pass defense. The Eagles secondary has been decimated by injuries and I expect the Texans to take advantage of that in a big way. Look for Watson to have a monster game as he throws over and over to his star receiver.
Baker Mayfield (FD $7,700, DK $6,100) and Jarvis Landry (FD $6,300, DK $6,200)
The surprise team of the 2018 season has to be the Cleveland Browns, right? They have now won four of their last five games and have looked really good doing it. This week they get the Bengals and their 32nd ranked defense against the pass.
The last time these two teams met, Baker Mayfield threw for over 250 yards and 4 TDs, picking apart the secondary with ease. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for WR Jarvis Landry, who only caught 3 balls for 30 yards. I expect that to change this week as Mayfield and Landry’s connection has been improving with each game. The Bengals haven’t been able to stop anyone all year long and I don’t see any reason that changes this week, so stack Mayfield and Landry on the cheap and go stock up the rest of your lineup with the more pricey studs.
