This isn’t a list of the best players for the Divisional Round of the 2018 NFL playoffs, but our FanDuel picks will give you the best bang for your buck.
FanDuel Dollar Menu – Weekly Value Picks
Alright, alright, you got me, none of these players actually cost a dollar. What they are is a list of players that provide excellent value for you each week in FanDuel contests. You know, the same way that the dollar menu at your favorite fast food restaurant provides you with a meal that may not be gourmet but it fills you up without breaking the bank. Again, this is not a list of the best players each week, this is a list of the players that offer the best bang for your buck.
With that being said, these are my FanDuel divisional round value plays.

QB: Nick Foles ($7,400, PHI @ NO)
Nick Foles was able to keep Philadelphia’s Super Bowl repeat hopes alive by engineering an impressive game winning drive against the formidable Bears defense in their wild card game. The winning touchdown pass to Golden Tate was the second of the game for Foles and his eighth in the last three games. Over those three games he is averaging 21.57 FanDuel points and he will try to improve on that average by looking to keep pace with the Saints on Sunday. The Saints boast the league’s second ranked rush defense and only the 29th ranked pass defense, which bodes well for Foles and the Eagles pass attack. He is priced as the seventh of eight quarterbacks this week, making him a great value.
Additional Value Pick: Philip Rivers ($7,300, LAC @ NE) is having one of his best seasons in recent memory. The veteran signal caller has a quarterback rating of 105.5 which actually ties a career high for him. He completed 68.3% of his passes for 4,308 yards and 32 touchdowns. The Patriots have not had a particularly effective pass defense this year as they have allowed close to 250 yards per game through the air and are tied for second worst with only 30 sacks on the season. Rivers is the cheapest option among starting quarterbacks and he should provide solid return on investment for owners.
RB: Marlon Mack ($7,300, IND @ KC)
The incredible improvement of the Colts offensive line has done wonders for the entire offense, including the running game. Marlon Mack in particular is reaping the rewards. In the last four games he has rushed for 443 yards and five touchdowns, giving him an average of 18.85 FanDuel points during that stretch. He is eyeing another big day as the Colts travel to take on the Chiefs 31st ranked defense. Opposing running backs have feasted on the Chiefs for most of the season as they have allowed 132 rushing yards per game in addition to 19 touchdowns. Mack should again receive a large number of touches as the Colts look to control the ball and keep the Chiefs offense on the sideline.
RB: Damien Williams ($6,100, IND @ KC)
Damien Williams has been a great surprise for the Chiefs after the Kareem Hunt debacle and the injury to Spencer Ware. Williams at times looks like the best skill player on the field, which is quite a compliment considering the talent that the Chiefs roster contains. He has scored six touchdowns and is averaging a healthy 19.55 FanDuel points over the last four games. He will likely have a prominent role in the Chiefs game plan, even if Ware is able to return. $6,100 is a deal for a back with such high upside, invest accordingly.
Additional Value Pick: Darren Sproles ($5,400 PHI @ NO) is averaging 12 touches per game in the Eagles last three contests. Doug Pederson and staff have been making a point to keep him involved in the game because of his potential for big plays and his effectiveness in the passing game. This will likely continue on Sunday as the Saints run defense has been superb this season, making Sproles a prime candidate for quick passes and screens.
WR: Keenan Allen ($,7100, LAC @ NE)
Before his hip injury in week 15, Keenan Allen was one of the hottest receivers in football, catching a touchdown in five straight games. Since the injury, he and Philip Rivers just have not regained the momentum that they had. That can be attributed to the injury but it can also be because two of those games were against the league’s top defense of the Baltimore Ravens. The defense of the New England Patriots is not in the same class as the Ravens, making an Allen bounce back probable for this Sunday. The Patriots rank 22nd in pass defense this season and have allowed approximately 250 yards per game through the air as well as 29 passing touchdowns on the season.
WR: Nelson Agholor ($6,200, PHI @ NO)
Since Nick Foles became the starter in Philadelphia, Nelson Agholor has seen his target share increase. The speedy receiver has received six or more targets in each of the last three games, two of which marked his season best performances of 18.5 and 20.1 FanDuel points. This week he will face the 29th ranked pass defense of the Saints and will likely draw a matchup with the beatable Eli Apple. I think Agholor will again receive several targets and will likely get free for at least one long gain in this one. He has a high ceiling, making his a great play at a reasonable price.
Additional Value Pick: Chester Rogers ($5,100, IND @ KC) has caught 14 passes on 16 targets over the last three weeks. He and Dontrelle Inman have come on recently to provide additional weapons for Andrew Luck. The Colts will likely put up a lot of points this weekend as they visit the Chiefs, whose secondary has been one of the worst in the league.
TE: Hunter Henry ($4,900, LAC @ NE)
I know, I was on Hunter Henry last week and he ultimately wasn’t even active. This week though he has definitely been activated and he was also a full participant in practice for the first time. All signs point to Henry being available to have a role Sunday against the Patriots 22nd ranked pass defense. The Pats have allowed eight touchdowns to tight ends this season and Henry has shown a knack for finding the end zone in his short career, catching 12 touchdowns in his first two seasons.
Additional Value Pick: Blake Jarwin ($5,400 DAL @ LAR) is nursing a high ankle sprain or he would likely be my top value at tight end this week. He has filled a position of need for the Cowboys admirably and he even exploded for 119 yards and three touchdowns in week 17. The Rams have struggled against opposing tight ends this season, giving up well over 1,000 yards to them on the season. If Jarwin happens to be ruled out for this contest, give Dalton Schultz a look at $4,000 as he will likely get the start.
DEF: Rams ($5,000 vs DAL)
I had trouble finding much value in the defenses this week. I suppose it is because all eight remaining teams have capable offenses, with many of them ranking near the top. Needless to say, for the first time all year I recommend paying for the top defense. The Rams have not been the dominant defense that everyone expected coming into the season but they were very good at forcing turnovers. They forced 30 turnovers on the season, which was the third most in the league. Turnovers equal FanDuel points, which helped the Rams average almost 10 per game. Pay up this week and you may be rewarded.
Additional Value Pick: Saints ($5,000 vs PHI) Again, with the limited choices and the quality of offenses left in the playoffs I think paying for a top defense may pay off this week. The Saints defense scored 13 FanDuel points the last time these two teams met. Nick Foles has tossed five interceptions in the last four games, which could continue as the Saints have 24 takeaways on the season.
