These fantasy football streaming quarterbacks for Week 13 are players to consider adding to your list of waiver wire pickups and free agent adds this week.
We’re back, folks! Unfortunately, I’m back with about ten pounds of Thanksgiving fat to burn off. Oh, pie. You will forever be my Achilles Heel. We’re finally through the bye weeks, and for most of you this will be your last week of regular season action before the playoffs. A lot of you might even need this week to get to the dance. Let’s make it count, then. Lucky for you all, we’ve got some absolute game-winners this week. Streamer time!
Case Keenum (DEN)
The Broncos suddenly find themselves viable again after a horrendous two-month skid. I’m not sure if that speaks to the mental fortitude of this unit or the absolute cluster-you-know-what that is the middle of the pack in the AFC. Whatever the case, the Broncos are heading on the road this week to play the Bengals. Guess who’s ranked dead last in fantasy points against QB’s so far this season? Yep. The Bengals, sitting at 23.6 points per game. Case is on the case! (I’m so sorry, Paw Patrol parents. I couldn’t help it.)
Lamar Jackson (BAL)
What Lamar Jackson lacks in mental acuity and accuracy, he more than makes up for in straight up sizzling playmaking ability. I don’t think this Ravens offense is sustainable in its current formation, but it’s just so much more fun to watch than the ho-hum affair that is Joe Flacco. While I do believe NFL defenses will catch up to the option plays running out of Baltimore, I don’t think it will be this week. The Ravens are heading down to Atlanta to take on the Falcons. The Falcons are ranked 31st against QB’s, giving up 22.7 points a game to the position. Jackson should give you a solid line this weekend.
Dak Prescott (DAL)
The addition of Amari Cooper simply can’t be understated for the Dallas offense. The Cowboys are suddenly a pedal-to-the-metal unit now that Cooper’s opened up the offense. Even Ezekiel Elliot has benefited, which of course means Dak Prescott is no longer a risky play. He may even be a solid QB1 moving forward, but let’s focus on this week first. The Cowboys are welcoming in the Saints this week. The Saints are ranked 29th against QB’s, giving up 22 points a game to the position. Dak will be just fine this weekend.
Jameis Winston (TB)
Has Jameis Winston done enough to keep Fitzmagic dead on the bench? Who knows anymore, honestly. Whoever’s starting for the Bucs should be good for fantasy, though. This week, it’s Winston. Also this week, the Bucs are playing the Panthers. The Panthers defense isn’t nearly as stingy as it used to be, particularly against the pass. They’re ranked 27th against QB’s, giving up 20 points a game to the position. Go ahead and fire up Winston.
Colt McCoy (WAS)
This pick is definitely the least sexy pick this week. Of course, there hasn’t been anything sexy about the Redskins’ QB position all year, so I guess that’s nothing new. Colt McCoy wasn’t atrocious against the Cowboys last week on Thanksgiving, and their defense is a solid unit. This week, the Redskins are playing the Eagles, whose defense USED to be a solid unit. Now the Eagles’ secondary is a complete dumpster fire. They’re ranked 26th against QB’s so far, giving up 19.9 points a week to the position. If you’re in desperation mode, McCoy might just get you a win this week.
Bonus: Baker Mayfield. Is the matchup good? Nope. Boy oh boy does he look good though. I’d consider starting him against just about anybody right now. Even the surging Texans. Food for thought.
