Dalvin Cook Suffers Apparent ACL Tear
Cook was on his way to another great fantasy performance before he left Sunday’s game with a third-quarter knee injury. The initial diagnosis is really bad: a nearly complete tear of his ACL.

Julio Jones Injured; Not Expected to Miss Time
Falcons receiver Julio Jones left Week 4’s game against the Bills early with a hip injury. Since the Falcons are on a bye in Week 5, he is expected to be ready for Week 6.
Deshaun Watson: Next Fantasy Stud QB?
Watson threw four touchdowns and ran for another, finishing with 283 yards and an interception. His five touchdowns tied an N.F.L. rookie record. Damn! If you banked your 2017 fantasy strategy on Tom Savage, you’re in trouble.
Will Fuller Has Huge 2017 Debut
Texans receiver Will Fuller made his season debut after missing the first three games with a broken collarbone. He caught four passes for 35 yards and two touchdowns. Read more.
David Carr Injured; Raiders Are a Mess
Carr left Sunday’s game with back spasms. It’s not completely clear what the deal is, but initial reports are that it’s not a serious injury. Regardless, Carr has looked god-awful this season behind what was supposed to be one of the best offensive lines in the N.F.L. As a result, Amari Cooper has been a complete bust for fantasy owners as well.
Duke Johnson Remains Best Fantasy Back on Browns
Browns running back Duke Johnson rushed four times for 13 yards and a touchdown and added nine catches for 47 yards. Not many people saw this coming in 2017 after Isaiah Crowell’s excellent 2016 campaign. Read more.
Jordan Matthews to Miss About a Month
He scored his first touchdown of 2017 on Sunday, but he’s about to be sidelined for about a month. He needs thumb surgery. It’s been a disappointing campaign for Matthews, who will cede his targets to Zay Jones and Charles Clay while he recovers.
Ravens’ Mike Wallace Finally Does Something
Ravens receiver Mike Wallace caught six passes for 55 yards and a touchdown in Week 4. Following a horrible start to the season, Wallace finally reached double-digit fantasy points. Read more.
Evan Engram Is Worth Starting in PPR
Giants tight end Evan Engram was targeted a career-high 11 times on Sunday, leading to six receptions for 62 yards. He has tallied consecutive seven-target tilts heading into Sunday. He’s a fine PPR play going forward. Read more.
