The Los Angeles Chargers defense in Week 2 may hinge on how well rookie Uchenna Nwosu can learn from sophomore Joey Bosa. The Chargers defense struggled to generate any pressure on Patrick Mahomes in Week 1, and they’ll get the chance to face another first-time starter in Buffalo when rookie Josh Allen takes the field. Nwosu is LA’s second-round pick from the 2018 draft, and he’s been tasked with taking over the LEO position while Bosa remains out with the bone bruise in his foot. With Allen’s ability as a mobile QB, Nwosu will need to help keep him contained in the pocket and pressure him whenever possible. Nwosu told reporters that Bosa has been teaching him this week, so it remains to be seen if this will go well for LA.
