Roll the credits.
After a chaotic whirlwind of a football season, the last week of fantasy football is here, and with that comes the last weekly waiver report. Since this list is pointed toward redraft leagues, and it is the last week of the season, there is no reason to emphasize long-term acquisitions, so my recommendations are entirely for players who have arguments to start on your fantasy rosters as streaming options.
Good luck in your championships, you have made it this far, now finish it off! Here is your final 2022 Waiver Wire.

Week 17 Waiver Wire – Worth a Look (over 50% owned)
Tyler Higbee, LAR- TE (65%)
Tyler Higbee’s season has been very up and down, but Baker Mayfield’s entrance into the L.A. spotlight has certainly helped out. In his last two games with Baker, Higbee has 16 targets with three touchdowns, and considering the struggles at TE this year, these are great numbers to see. Coming off of a season-high, Higbee makes for a solid starter in Week 17.
Cam Akers, LAR- RB (68%)
If I am being completely honest, this is the first time in my entire life I have encouraged someone to go anywhere near Cam Akers. I have always been against Akers in fantasy, but following a career performance, it’s hard not to even consider him.
Akers has been solid for 4 weeks now, and while he isn’t a surefire starter in Week 17, he can definitely be considered as a potential streamer.
Week 17 Waiver Wire (under 50% owned)
Tyler Allgeier, ATL- RB (49%)
For rookie RB Tyler Allgeier, who barely snuck in at 49% owned, it has been back-to-back weeks with 15+ touches. In addition to Allgeier’s 74 rushing yards, Atlanta also used him in the passing game, where he caught 4 of 5 targets for 43 yards.
Following two weeks in a row with 100+ total yards, Allgeier can be trusted as a low-end flex play.
Jahan Dotson, WAS- WR (23%)
Jahan Dotson has been on my list for weeks and it’s not stopping now. Dotson is a serious red zone threat for the Commanders, as he caught a TD for the third consecutive week on Sunday. This has been a theme for him all season, where he is yet to have a game without a score when logging more than 2 catches. It’s a wonder to me why he’s not rostered anywhere, as he’s an elite bench player at worst, and a championship starter at best.
Brock Purdy, SF- QB (37%)
The legend of Brock Purdy continues (originally I accidentally typed Patrick Mahomes, no joke). Purdy has established himself as a high-floor start as a fantasy QB, with exactly 2 TDs in every one of his starts so far.
With quarterback-friendly Vegas coming up, Purdy is a nice streamer option for teams looking to strengthen their championship floor.
Isaiah Hodgins, NYG- WR (2%)
From the streets to the headlines. Isaiah Hodgins has done wonders for the Giants late in the season and has also been great in fantasy as of late.
Similar to Jahan Dotson, Hodgins’ points come mostly through his endzone usage, which has been frequent. Approaching Indianapolis following a career-high of 11 targets, Hodgins can be a decent streaming option this week.
