This week’s quick guide to DFS success, including FanDuel and DraftKings, value rankings and more.
Week 5 FanDuel Lineup
Week 5 DFS Player Notes
Chase Daniel (CHI @ OAK) — He held his own against a solid Vikings defense after Mitchell Trubisky went down (22 of 30, 195 yards, TD). He faces an Oakland Raiders defense allowing 281 passing yards per game and 25.5 points per game.
Kyler Murray (ARI @ CIN) — The Bengals defense has looked particularly weak of late and just allowed Mason Rudolph to complete 24-of-28 passes. They are really bad against the run too, which bodes well for Murray and David Johnson.
Leonard Fournette (JAC @ CAR) — Coming off of 225 yards against Denver, he’ll see a high workload once again against Carolina. As PFF’s Jarad Evans points out, the Panthers have given up 19 runs of 10-plus yards (second-most) and 3.0 rushing yards after contact per attempt (10th-worst).
Julian Edelman (NE @ WAS) — The Redskins have allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing receivers this season, including nine or more fantasy points to eight different receivers. Expect the Patriots offense to be firing on all cylinders with Edelman heavily-involved and highly productive.
Larry Fitzgerald (ARI @ CIN) — He’s a boom-or-bust option, but is an incredible value in FanDuel ($5,800).
