Week 6 Streaming Quarterbacks: Ah, regression to the mean. Every year starts out crazy, with fantasy football analysts everywhere panicking at the idea that all their predictions have to be thrown out the window. This season is turning into a high-octane offensive year, but we’re finally regressing back toward normal at the QB position. That makes it even easier to stream the position. Speaking of which, let’s get to the Week 6 streaming quarterbacks!

Week 6 Streaming Quarterbacks
Jameis Winston (TB)
Ooohhhh, welcome back, Mr. Winston! Jameis Winston is on waiver wires everywhere this week. That’s just crazy, people. Sure, he looked a little rusty in his debut (against the Bears. Pretty sure he gets a pass.) However, it’s going to be an absolute shootout this week. The Bucs are heading to Atlanta to play the Falcons. Matt Ryan and co. are much better at home in the dome, so they’ll be firing on all cylinders. Considering the Bucs rank dead last in Fantasy Points Against (FPA from here on out) against QBs, while the Falcons rank 29th at 24.6 points per game, you need to start everyone in this game.
Josh Rosen (ARI)
I know, Josh Rosen didn’t get you quite what you were hoping for last week. This Cardinals team is kind of a hot mess at the moment. However, if you’re desperate, particularly in 2-quarterback or superflex leagues, bear something in mind: this isn’t the 2017 Vikings defense. Arizona is coming to Minnesota this week, and the Vikings are currently sitting at 27th against QBs, allowing 22.6 points per game. He’s worth a look.

Andy Dalton (CIN)
Okay. Look people. Dalton is still on way, way too many waiver wires. Have you seen his schedule coming up? It’s preposterous. He starts out by playing the Steelers this week, sitting at 31st against QBs at 25.4 points per game. Then it’s the Chiefs, sitting at 28th against QBs at 23.7 per game. Then it’s the Bucs, sitting at dead last against QBs at 28.6 points per game. Oh my goodness, what a schedule. If he’s available, get him. He’s a top five QB over the next three weeks. Count on it.
Sam Darnold (NYJ)
What a week to play the Colts. They’re looking for just about anyone with a pulse to man this injury-riddled defense over in Indianapolis. Considering what Sam Darnold was able to do to a healthy Broncos defense last week (albeit a surprisingly bad Broncos defense), you should be starting him everywhere this week. The Colts are sitting at 24th against QBs, at 19.9 points per game. Don’t let that number fool you, though. With all the injuries on this Colts defense, you can feel comfortable starting Darnold this week.
Baker Mayfield (CLE)
Baker Mayfield didn’t light anything up this last week, but he had a perfectly respectable line in a very tough matchup against the Ravens. This week, it gets a lot easier for the rookie. The Chargers are coming to town, and they’re down at 23rd against QBs. They allow 19.6 points a game to the position, which is a far cry from where the Ravens sit. I’d start Baker with complete confidence this week.

Eli Manning (NYG)
Oh boy. Now this is a scary pick. You just never know which player on the Giants O-line is going to go all turnstyle each week. Might just be all of them this week. That being said, while the Phillies have a crazy defensive front, their secondary is hot garbage this year. Jenkins is the only player back there playing well so far, and even he isn’t playing like he normally does. The Eagles are sitting at 21st against QBs, allowing 19.4 points per game so far. I’d give Eli Manning a shot this week.
