Last week was a profitable one for me personally and hopefully for you guys as well. That JuJu Smith-Schuster pick really paid off, as I was hoping it would. DraftKings Week 9 presents us with more great potential to win some money, so let’s dive right into the picks.
Stacks that I like
Drew Brees and Michael Thomas
This game has clear shootout potential; you don’t need to be an expert to see that. Both teams have lethal offensive weapons and while the Saints defense has been leaps and bounds better than last year, both defenses are still a little suspect. Brees and Thomas haven’t had that huge game this season that everyone was expecting. I think this week is the week.

Jacoby Brissett and T.Y Hilton
Houston’s defense just got obliterated by Seattle. They’re so banged up it’s honestly sad to watch at this point. The Texans will be able to score this week, despite Watson’s injury, which means that Brissett will still have to throw the ball. I also really like Jack Doyle in this game. He’s been on fire of late.
Jared Goff and Sammy Watkins (GPP only)
The Giants are without Janoris Jenkins this week, which means that Watkins has a very soft matchup. He has big-play potential and is going up against a team that Doug Baldwin would have obliterated if Wilson would have hit only found him on that streak down the field.
Dak Prescott and Dez Bryant
The Chiefs have been handing receivers fantasy points on plates this season and I don’t see that changing this week. If the Cowboys wish to do so, and they most certainly will, Dez can avoid Peters for the entire game as Peters typically only plays one side of the field.
QB’s that I like

RB’s That I like
Chris Thompson
Washington’s O-line is perhaps one of the most banged up O-lines in recent memory. That being said, Seattle has a phenomenal pass rush, despite it not looking that way last week, which means that Kirk will have to get the ball out quickly. Insert Chris Thompson.
Projection: 8 rec 81 yds
As I previously mentioned, I expect this game to be a high-scoring affair. The Saints will need to throw the ball a lot in this game and it seems like in this season, there is no one better to throw it to than Kamara.
Projection: 9 rec 102 total yds 1td
WR’s that I like
Sterling Shepard
He’s a much-needed piece of this offense, especially without Marshall or Beckham. He gets a mediocre pass defense this week. The reason why I like him so much is because of potential usage. Manning desperately needs a win here and will rely on the short game to get it done.
Projection: 8 Rec 72 yd
DeVante Parker
With David Amerson sidelined this week, expect Parker to get a ton of deep looks. While he is coming back from an injury, he has practiced fully and is expected to be without any limitations.
Projection: 4 rec 102 yards
TE’s that I like
Jack Doyle
He’s had 32 targets over the last three weeks. For a tight end, that is absurd. He has a soft matchup this week against a banged up Houston D.
Projection: 7 rec 77 yd 1td
Jimmy Graham
With Josh Norman expected to follow Doug Baldwin, a gaping hole for production needs to be filled. While Paul Richardson has been incredible as of late, so has Jimmy for that matter.
Projection: 6 rec 59 yd 1td
DST’s that I like
Jags
Honestly, this week presents a lot of trouble finding a defense. I like the Jags D though, as they have been stellar thus far.
Projection: 12 points
