It’s back to Sunday racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend. Kevin Harvick blew through the competition last weekend, but Kyle Busch was close behind. Will Harvick secure yet another win, or will one of the Penske boys beat him to victory lane?
Here’s my NASCAR fantasy advice guiding you to the Brilliant, Bold, and Bonkers drivers for the South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Brilliant – These NASCAR drivers have the best shot at winning in in Las Vegas
Joey Logano
Logano and Vegas go together like Peanut Butter & Jelly. Plus, he’s really gotten hot in the last several weeks, despite his rough finish in Bristol last weekend (if you can call 11th place rough). He won it here in February to get into the playoffs, and he’s gonna win it here again to clinch his way into the next round.

Brad Keselowski
You have to go back to March of 2012 to see Brad Keselowski sitting outside of the top 10 at Las vegas. Like his partner at Penske, Joey Logano, he has a knack for navigating this track when it really counts. This is one of his best places to run, and he’ll prove that to the world on Sunday.

Martin Truex Jr.
Last week’s lousy run in Bristol was no surprise to fans. This week, however, a top-finish is what we’re expecting from the No. 19. He won here last September, he’s been on a hot streak since mid-July, and he’s ready to punch that ticket to the next round.

Bold – These are my NASCAR sleeper picks
Kevin Harvick
I’m now terrified to leave the hapster out of my picks on any given week. He’s always freaky fast, and any track is a “good” track for the No. 4. True, he’s been hit-and-miss here in recent years, but all that goes out the window when a driver is on the hottest streak of his career. Yes, he won last week, but considering that there seems to be no stopping this team, there’s a distinct possibility he’ll win again in Vegas.
Wins at Las Vegas: 2
Top 5 finishes: 7
Top 10 finishes: 11
Chase Elliott
Chase has never won here before, but 2020 proves that there’s a first time for everything, everywhere. He won the first two stages here in February, and I think he could win the final—and most important—stage of the night on Sunday.

Ryan Blaney
Blaney might be out of the playoffs, but he’s still in it to win it. He’s shown promise at 1.5 miles tracks, especially Vegas where he was the fastest car on the track last time around. He’s my NASCAR sleeper pic of the week, and he might just surprise a few people by the end of the race.

Bonkers – Stay away from these NASCAR drivers in your fantasy lineup this week
Kurt Busch
Kurt has been here 21 times, and this is as good as it gets. It’s not his best track and it’s not an elimination week, so I expect that the No. 1 will lay low and hope for a few stage points to keep his head above water for this round. Expect better in the next couple of weeks.

Top 10 finishes:5
Clint Bowyer
Bowyer has been to Vegas 17 times and seems to have trouble getting into the top ten, let alone the top spot. The last time he finished under 10th place was in 2010. Give him a pass on your NASCAR fantasy list this weekend.
Wins at Las Vegas: 0

Erik Jones
It’s been a rough few weeks for Erik Jones, though he put on a great show last weekend in Bristol. Vegas has never been one of his better tracks, so park him in the pits on Sunday.
