The NASCAR All-Star Race is heading to Texas Motor Speedway again this year, but a new format is in place with plenty of stages, points, and fun stuff. Stage winners get the opportunity to start in the top spots of the final stage, and a special pit stop competition will occur between stages two and three. It’s points and awards all around for these NASCAR drivers and pit crews on Sunday night, and the ultimate prize is a pocket full of a million big ones.
Money is a fantastic motivator, so there’s no telling who might actually win this thing. In a field of the best, it’s anyone’s game. This week, I’ll give you insight into who I think stands a chance at a million, but as of this writing, I have no idea who will get into the race with a win in the NASCAR All-Star Open, or who will win the fan-favorite vote. Though I will say, if Tyler Reddick gets in somehow, keep your eye on him because he is hot in Texas. If he were already in the game, he’d be on this list. As for the pit crew selection, Kyle Busch has one of the best!
And now, here are the five NASCAR fantasy drivers I think have the best chance to get the million-dollar prize after all stages are complete at the NASCAR All-Star Race 2022 at Texas Motor Speedway. Good luck!
Brilliant – These expert fantasy picks for NASCAR have the best shot at a win this weekend
Christopher Bell
Christopher Bell is young, hot, and raring to go at this night race at Texas Motor Speedway. You can bet that he’s gonna be right up front all night. He hasn’t been here a lot in the Cup Series, but he’s made an impression in his few trips with an average finish of 9th place. Only Tyler Reddick has done it better, so I expect good things from the 20.

Kyle Busch
The 18 has sizzled since Richmond and I don’t think that’s gonna slow down anytime soon. You know that the crowd in Texas will go wild if old Rowdy takes home the prize, and he’ll eat up those boos with a spoon. His pit crew is going to keep him in the top spot all race long, so keep an eye on Kyle Busch for your fantasy team this weekend.
Texas Wins: 4

Kevin Harvick
Kevin Harvick does well at this track, so it’s tough to think that he won’t be running hot all night. His pit crew is fairly reliable, too, and they’ll give him a great opportunity to put on a show. Place your bets for the All-Star race and count on this Champion driver to make something happen.

Chase Elliott
Chase Elliot seems to do well when NASCAR takes on the night, and a million dollars is a great motivator. I remember when Chase won the fan favorite vote to get into this race early in his career, and I bet he looks back and appreciates that. As a prior Champion, he’s in it forever, now. The Number 9 is a smart bet for an All-Star win on Sunday.

Ross Chastain
My wild-card racer for NASCAR fantasy this week is Ross Chastain. It’s the change I’ve seen in this driver all season that gives me a warm fuzzy feeling about his odds at the All-Star race this year. This guy is stoked to be there and he’s ready to take on everyone else, pushing and grinding if he has to, for that million bucks. Look out for the Number One on Sunday night.
