Kyle Larson
Ryan Blaney
Denny Hamlin
Martin Truex Jr.
Kyle Busch
Kevin Harvick
Brad Keselowski
Joey Logano
Below the cut line, you’ll find:
Alex Bowman
Chase Elliot
Clint Bowyer
William Byron
Anything can change on Sunday at Kansas Speedway. Will your favorite driver make it to the next round?

And now, here are this week’s Brilliant, Bold, and Bonkers NASCAR Fantasy picks for the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway
Brilliant NASCAR fantasy picks
Martin Truex Jr.
- Wins: 2
- Top 5 finishes: 8
- Top 10 finishes: 10
Don’t let Truex’s poor finish here in the spring dissuade you from picking him in NASCAR fantasy this week. He’s historically done well at Kansas Speedway, and I think he’ll remind us of that on Sunday.
Chase Elliott
- Wins: 1
- Top 5 finishes: 3
- Top 10 finishes: 4
Chase is too close for comfort sitting below the cutoff line for the next round of the playoffs. I fully expect him to get behind the wheel and do everything within his power to grab a win at Kansas. 4th place in May is likely to become 1st place on Sunday when the No. 9 rolls into victory lane.
Kevin Harvick
- Wins: 3
- Top 5 finishes: 8
- Top 10 finishes: 14
With the exception of two poor finishes, Harvick has had single-digit finishes since July. He’s been solid this season, although in a quiet way. But this guy knows how to race, and he’ll have at least one more ride into victory lane before the season ends. Chances are high that it will happen this week in Kansas.
Bold NASCAR fantasy picks
Clint Bowyer
- Wins: 0
- Top 5 finishes: 3
- Top 10 finishes: 7
Kansas Speedway is Bowyer’s home track, and he’d like nothing more than to punch his ticket to the round of eight after the race on Sunday. He finished 5th here in May, and you know he’s going to push it as hard as he can to get that win this week. It was announced that Bowyer will continue with SHR for the 2020 season, so this would be a nice way to say “thank you” to Smoke and the gang.
Alex Bowman
- Wins: 0
- Top 5 finishes: 1
- Top 10 finishes: 3
Bowman finished second here in May, and you know he wants to lower that number by one on Sunday. After two great weeks, Bowman was involved in a wreck that took him out of the race at Talladega. Don’t count him out this week, though, as the 88 is still on fire. I think it’s hot enough to get him a spot in the round of eight.
Brad Keselowski
- Wins: 2
- Top 5 finishes: 4
- Top 10 finishes: 10
Brad won here in May, and he’s got a good chance of winning here again. His only trouble might be the drivers who are desperate to stay above the cutoff line so they can advance to the round of eight. If Brad can manage to hold them off without wrecking before the end, he’ll roll into victory lane one more time.
Bonkers NASCAR fantasy picks
William Byron
- Wins: 0
- Top 5 finishes: 0
- Top 10 finishes: 0
This is his last chance to get into the playoffs. Byron has had a great season, and he’s only going to get better next year. Expect big things from the team of William Byron and Chad Knaus as they take the No. 24 to victory lane; just don’t expect it to happen at Kansas this week. I predict this is where the championship dreams get put on the shelf until next year.
Daniel Suarez
- Wins: 0
- Top 5 finishes: 0
- Top 10 finishes: 1
It’s not the week for the 41 to come out of the gates swinging. Suarez has had a disappointing year, to say the least. Having said that, he’s gotten a little bit better each year since he joined the Monster Energy Cup NASCAR Series. And just because he’s not in the race for the championship, it doesn’t mean he’s not looking for his first win. He just won’t find it at Kansas Speedway on Sunday.
Aric Almirola
- Wins: 0
- Top 5 finishes: 0
- Top 10 finishes: 6
He had a good finish last week, but it was the first time Almirola fell inside the top five since March. March! Let’s hope that better times in 2020 will help the No. 10 bring home the bacon next year. (See what I did there?) Don’t expect him to ham it up on Sunday.
