And then there were 8. After non-playoff driver but super-hot road course racer A.J. Allmendinger got the ROVAL win, it left everyone else scrambling. William Byron and Ryan Blaney were already into the next round thanks to two early wins, and Denny Hamlin advanced on points by the end of stage 2 in Charlotte. Bubba Wallace, Brad Keselowski, Ross Chastain, and Kyle Bush tried their best but sadly will not advance to the Round of 8.
The following 8 drivers will now compete in the next three races to see who advances to the Championship Four.
William Byron
Martin Truex Jr.
Denny Hamlin
Kyle Larson
Chris Beuscher
Tyler Reddick
Christopher Bell
Ryan Blaney

Brilliant – These expert fantasy picks for NASCAR have the best shot at a win this weekend
Joey Logano
Joey Logano may be out of it, but he’s still a big-time winner in Vegas. Look for the number 22 to get the win he should have gotten before his elimination a few weeks ago.
Wins in Las Vegas: 3

Top 10s: 12
Martin Truex Jr.
Martin Turex Jr. has just come off of two of his worst tracks. Thankfully, the points have reset, and he’s sitting pretty. But even if he weren’t, this is a good track for him to get even more points and secure his future in the Championship Four.
Wins in Las Vegas: 2

Top 10s: 14
Denny Hamlin
Another driver who seems to pull it out of his hat, Denny Hamlin, has a good opportunity to race his way into the final four this weekend in Las Vegas.

Bold – Here’s my NASCAR fantasy advice on this week’s sleeper picks

Kyle Larson
It’s been a hot minute since Kyle Larson has won a race in the Cup Series. And whether he wins this week or not is debatable. However, I do think he’ll finish very well, regardless.
Wins in Las Vegas: 1
Top 5s: 6
Top 10s: 10
William Byron
William Byron is as William Byron does. It doesn’t matter if he’s good at a track or not; he finds a way to come out on top. And he will again this week in Vegas.
Wins in Las Vegas: 1
Top 5s: 2
Top 10s: 4
Kyle Busch
Kyle Busch has no problem playing spoiler for any NASCAR Cup Series driver who gets in his way, playoff-bound or not. Now that the pressure is off, you’ll probably see this RCR driver get at least one more win this season; probably at his home track, where his numbers have been so very good.
Wins in Las Vegas: 1
Top 5s: 11
Top 10s: 14
Bonkers – Chances are slim that these drivers will benefit your NASCAR fantasy points this week
Austin Cindric
It’s been a long season for Austin CIndric. The good news is he’ll be back with Penske for 2024, and he’ll have another fresh start to show his stuff.
Wins in Las Vegas: 0
Top 5s: 0
Top 10s: 1
Christopher Bell
It’s not that Christopher Bell isn’t a good driver; it’s just that he’s had such terrible luck lately that I don’t trust it enough to pick him for fantasy this week.
Wins in Las Vegas: 0
Top 5s: 1
Top 10s: 3
Daniel Suarez
Another driver who seems to end up on the wrong side of the track, Daniel Suarez, is best left out of your NASCAR fantasy lineup in Vegas.
