Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers completed 23 of 33 passes for 261 yards and two touchdowns in a 30-28 Week 1 win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: Rodgers returned to the Bay Area and put on a show, peppering Davante Adams with 18 targets. He also managed to connect with burner Marquez Valdes-Scantling three times for 59 yards and a touchdown. However, Rodgers’ best moment of the night came on a beautiful throw over the middle to find Adams on the game-winning drive with under a minute left. This clutch pass set up Mason Crosby with a 51-yard game-winning field goal. Rodgers is still a low-end QB1 moving forward, but the lack of rushing upside he once possessed is gone.
