Adam Thielen catches only two passes against Falcons

Adam Thielen caught both of his targets for 12 yards in the Panthers’ 24-10 loss to the Falcons. It was a disappointing beginning of the regular season for the veteran wideout after promising preseason usage.

Fantasy Impact: Thielen was projected to be the Panthers’ WR1 heading into the season, but it was not the start many imagined for the veteran wideout. He was firmly tied for fifth on the team in targets. Hayden Hurst was the favorite target of rookie QB Bryce Young, and it doesn’t look to get any easier against the Panthers’ next opponent; Marshon Lattimore and the New Orleans Saints.
