Alex Highsmith enters NFL’s concussion protocol

Pittsburgh Steelers edge rusher Alex Highsmith has entered the league’s concussion protocol following Thursday night’s matchup with the New England Patriots.

Fantasy Impact: Highsmith was not able to finish the TNF contest after he left prematurely in the first half and was ruled out with a head/neck injury. Now the 26-year-old pass-rusher will go through the NFL’s protocol. Because they played on Thursday, Highsmith has extra time to be able to possibly play in Week 15. In 13 games, Highsmith has 49 tackles and six sacks.
