Alexander Mattison approaches100 total yards, finds end zone in Week 9

Alexander Mattison rushed for 44 yards on 16 carries, adding 49 yards and a touchdown on two receptions in Sunday’s 31-28 win over the Falcons.

Fantasy Impact: Mattison led the way for the Vikings’ backfield again Sunday afternoon, and that figures to continue with an even larger load with Cam Akers now dealing with what could be a significant Achilles injury. Mattison continues to lack efficiency in the ground game, averaging just 3.6 yards per carry on the season with no touchdowns. However, as he showed Sunday, he has the receiving ability to make up for the lackluster rushing totals. Mattison now has 23 receptions through nine games with three of those going for touchdowns.
