Minnesota Vikings RB Alexander Mattison, who spent the week in concussion protocol, is expected to be “good to go” and to play in Week 11 on Sunday night against the Denver Broncos.
Fantasy Impact: Mattison received a surprise “questionable” designation on Friday’s injury report, and his availability comes as an even further surprise. Mattison will be just the second player this season to progress through concussion protocol and be cleared for the following game within the same week, the other being Brock Purdy. The protocol is focused on ability and milestones and not time, so the speed at which he progressed is not an inherent problem. Whether or not he will be limited in snap count following a limited week’s practice is unclear, making him or RB Ty Chandler risky plays in Week 11.
