Alexander Mattison expected to play, ‘not 100%’

Minnesota Vikings RB Alexander Mattison is expected to play in Week 16 against the Detroit Lions at less than 100% capacity with an ankle injury.

Fantasy Impact: Mattison missed last week’s contest which opened the door for second-year RB Ty Chandler to get his first career start. Chandler posted a 23-132-1 stat line in the process. Mattison may be healthy enough to play, but with Minnesota playing for playoff eligibility, he may be relegated to a smaller role than when he started the year as Kevin O’Connell rides the hot hand.
