The NFL is suspending Saints RB Alvin Kamara three games for his role in a fight outside a Las Vegas nightclub in 2022, according to a report from ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter. Kamara met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell earlier this week.
Fantasy Impact: Well, at least now fantasy managers finally know exactly what they’re getting when drafting Kamara. For much of the summer, he was a major question mark, and the lack of clarity surrounding his status affected his ADP and FantasyPros ECR. He is currently 78th overall and RB29 in ECR, but he is likely to jump into mid-RB2 range now that we know the suspension is only three games. Jamaal Williams and Kendre Miller will have additional appeal through the first three weeks, and Williams will likely still be valuable in most formats given his short-yardage and red zone role (he’s the guy who scored 17 touchdowns for the Lions last season).
