Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper has been traded to the Cleveland Browns along with a sixth round draft pick in exchange for a fifth round pick and a sixth round pick, according to multiple reports.
Fantasy Impact: Cooper has been rumored to be on the trade block for a few months now, but the Cowboys’ compensation for the Pro Bowl wideout is somewhat surprising. The Cowboys need cap space, and Cooper is due $20 million in each of the next three seasons, so this was a financially motivated move. Cooper immediately steps in as the No. 1 wide receiver in Cleveland, while CeeDee Lamb, tight end Daulton Schultz, and Michael Gallup (assuming he is re-signed) figure to benefit in Dallas.
