Saints QB Andy Dalton completed 16 of 24 pass attempts for 187 yards, a touchdown and an interception. He was also sacked once for a loss of six yards and rushed seven times for four yards in Sunday’s win over the Seahawks.
Fantasy Impact: Dalton and the passing game continue to look solid, building on their Week 4 performance. While the Seahawks have one of the worst scoring defense in the NFL, Dalton and the Saints’ offense were without two of it’s top weapons in WR Michael Thomas and WR Jarvis Landry, and had WR Chris Olave exit early with a concussion. With QB Jameis Winston battling a back injury, Dalton is showing he still has what it take to be a starter in the NFL. For fantasy managers he could be a serviceable streaming option with NFL byes beginning in Week 6.
