Bears GM Ryan Pace says that Andy Dalton will remains the team’s starting quarterback entering the season.
Fantasy Impact: Pace added that the team has a developmental plan in place for first-round selection Justin Fields. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the team won’t anoint Fields as the Day 1 starter, and it probably isn’t the worst idea to let him develop behind the scenes early on in his career. Still, the expectation should be that Fields will be starting games at some point in 2021, and it could happen sooner rather than later depending how Dalton performs out of the gate.
