Steelers wide receiver Anthony Miller has been placed on the season-ending injured reserve with a lingering shoulder injury according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
Fantasy Impact: Miller missed Pittsburgh’s preseason game against Seattle due to the shoulder issue but it remains unclear when he suffered the injury. The former Bears’ second-rounder had spent much of his time practicing with the first team offense early in training camp (with starters Johnson and Claypool missing time) and was trending towards a spot on the 53-man roster before the injury. Miller had been competing with former-Raven Miles Boykin, Steven Sims, Cody White, and former-Patriot Gunner Olszewski for the final wide receiver spot in Pittsburgh
