Anthony Richardson receiving season-ending surgery

Indianapolis Colts rookie QB Anthony Richardson is undergoing season-ending surgery on his shoulder, setting him up for a 2024 return to action.

Fantasy Impact: Richardson showed early on why he was a first-rounder in the 2023 NFL Draft, and he quickly became a fantasy-relevant QB. He will finish his rookie year with 577 yards in four games (in two of which he left with an injury) and 136 yards on the ground with seven total touchdowns. He’s not worth holding in redraft leagues, but dynasty managers should feel confident in his long-term outlook. Gardner Minshew II will start for the Colts the rest of the way.
