Colts QB Anthony Richardson is strongly considering season-ending shoulder surgery on his damaged AC joint, according to a report from NFL insider Ian Rapoport.
Fantasy Impact: While no decision has been made as of yet, Richardson and the Colts reportedly sought four or five opinions on his shoulder, and a common theme has been that surgery is the best option to heal his throwing shoulder fully. A recent MRI revealed that the labrum was not torn, and the ligaments looked better than expected. The young QB left three of the four games he played this season early due to injury and missed Week 3 against the Ravens. With Richardson out, veteran QB Gardner Minshew is expected to continue to start for the Colts.
