The Falcons’ defense allowed 31 points on 363 yards of offense but did record four sacks, two takeaways, and a safety in Sunday’s 31-28 loss to the Vikings.
Fantasy Impact: The Falcons’ defense pretty much dominated the first half of Sunday’s matchup against the Vikings, making several big plays and leading the way to an 11-10 lead at intermission. However, the Vikings’ offense settled in behind newly-acquired QB Joshua Dobb in the second half, putting three touchdowns on the board which included a game-winner with 22 seconds remaining. The Falcons defense is certainly making some impact plays on the defensive side, but the unit has now allowed a combined 59 points over the last two games while facing quarterbacks like Dobbs as well as rookies Will Levis and Jaren Hall. That’s not exactly an elite group.
