Austin Ekeler (hip) added to Thursday’s injury report, listed as ‘DNP’

Chargers RB Austin Ekeler missed Thursday’s practice due to a hip injury.

Fantasy Impact: This is concerning coming out of the Chargers’ bye week. Joshua Kelley should be picked up in redraft leagues until we get more information on Ekeler’s status, which likely won’t come until Friday’s practice report is revealed. Even a “limited” practice on Friday would keep Ekeler on track to play in Week 8 against the Patriots. If Ekeler doesn’t play, then LA would likely use some sort of committee involving Kelley, Justin Jackson, and Larry Rountree.
