Austin Ekeler carried the ball just four times for five yards, adding 48 yards through the air on eight catches in Sunday’s loss to the Jaguars.
Fantasy Impact: After three weeks of subpar numbers, fantasy managers who spent a first-round pick on Ekeler are starting to sweat. The Chargers fell behind early, which led to just 12 total rushing attempts as a team. Ekeler still excels as a pass catcher, but his rushing numbers are far below what he put up last season. A matchup with the Texans next week will hopefully provide the veteran RB with an opportunity to play up to his standard.
