Austin Watkins Jr. leads Cleveland in receiving in preseason loss

Austin Watkins Jr. caught six of his eight targets for 71 yards in a 17-15 preseason loss to the Commanders on Friday.

Fantasy Impact: Watkins led the team in targets, catches, and receiving yards in the loss. The second-year wideout has had a productive preseason thus far as he caught a touchdown against the Jets last week in the Hall of Fame game. He is part of a crowded depth chart but Watkins is doing his best to carve out a role in the Cleveland offense for the 2023 season.
