Bailey Zappe came off the bench to replace Brian Hoyer (concussion) during Week 4 against the Packers. The rookie completed 10 of 15 passes for 99 yards and one touchdown. He also fumbled once in the overtime loss.
Fantasy Impact: Zappe looked solid, keeping the Patriots in the game until the final seconds of overtime. Even his fumble was less his fault and more the fault of New England’s offensive line. If Zappe is forced to play in Week 5 against the Lions, he should be viewed as a mid-range QB3 in fantasy football.
