Baker Mayfield (knee) completed 25 of his 42 passes for 237 yards and two touchdowns while adding 19 yards on three carries in a 24-18 loss to the Bills in Week 8.
Fantasy Impact: Mayfield came into the game questionable with a knee injury but he wound up taking the field. He performed well in the Thursday night loss, finding Chris Godwin and Mike Evans for his pair of touchdowns. He could have had a third TD pass as he almost connected with Chris Godwin for a touchdown on a Hail Mary as time expired but Godwin wasn’t able to secure the pass. Mayfield has looked resurgent in 2023 with 1,600 passing yards, 10 touchdowns, and four interceptions over seven games. He will be a QB2 in Week 9 against the Texans.
