Blake Grupe expected as the Saints’ starting kicker

According to Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football, rookie K Blake Grupe is expected to be the Saints’ starting kicker after trading away K Wil Lutz.

Fantasy Impact: Grupe is the lone kicker remaining in New Orleans following roster cutdowns. The 5-foot-7 kicker went five-of-six on preseason field goal attempts including a 50-yarder and a game-winning kick in the preseason opener against the Chiefs. If the Saints’ offense is a scoring threat in 2023, Grupe could be a streaming option as a kicker.
