Boston Scott re-signed with the Eagles for one year and $1.75 million. The deal could be worth up to $2.25 million with incentives and guarantees Scott at least $1.1 million.
Fantasy Impact: Scott had a bigger role than expected last year, seeing double-digit touches in six of the last seven games in which he played. He was less involved in the passing game than he had been in previous years, but he obviously more than made up for that with his increased number of carries. The Eagles’ running back room remains extremely crowded, and given Scott’s minimal contract, it’s highly unlikely that the Eagles see a large role for him in the 2022 season. He almost certainly won’t be worth drafting in fantasy circles, but he’s the type of player to keep an eye on during the season in case of injuries to the backs ahead of him.
