Broncos linebacker Bradley Chubb underwent a minor ankle procedure this past week. The operation, which focused on removing a bone spur, and subsequent recovery will hold Chubb out of OTAs, though he is expected to be ready for training camp. This surgery was related to the ankle injury that forced Chubb out of action for the final two weeks of the 2020 season.
Fantasy Impact: Chubb, 24, logged a solid junior season in the Broncos’ defense. Over 14 games, he picked up 7.5 sacks, 42 tackles (including nine for loss), 19 QB hits, and one forced fumble. The former fifth overall pick out of North Carolina State ranks 29th among linebackers in the latest expert consensus rankings. He’s expected to make a full recovery and should have a huge role in a Denver defense that is suddenly quite terrifying.
