Texans’ WR Brandin Cooks, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a wrist injury, is expected to play against the Giants, according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.
Fantasy Impact: Cooks wanted to be traded before the NFL trade deadline and sat out the team’s matchup against the Eagles on Thursday Night Football last week after not being moved. Through seven games this season, he has caught 32 of his 53 targets for 354 yards and one touchdown. The FantasyPros ECR has him at WR36 this week, though that is likely to move up slightly once he is confirmed as active. Still, he is a borderline WR2/WR3 this week, especially since he figures to see a healthy dose of Giants CB Adoree’ Jackson.
