Cincinnati Bengals QB Brandon Allen has been re-signed to a one-year deal with his current team, as reported by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Fantasy Impact: Allen earned five starts in 2020 following Joe Burrow’s ACL tear, throwing for 925 yards and five touchdowns with a 1-4 record in that span. He will continue to play a back-up role to Burrow in Cincinnati but is familiar with the system ran by head coach Zac Taylor. Therefore, Allen provides insurance and experience should the Bengals fail to improve their bottom-tier offensive line this offseason.
